First a caveat. I’ve gone 2 weeks without a Coke — but I’ve substituted many Lemonades and sweet teas. I don’t have too big a problem with this as this challenge is about exerting willpower and changing behavior. If it takes 2 steps to get down, that’s fine.
One minor surprise has been that on a recent roadtrip I noticed that not drinking a coke made me less interested in my fast food. I still had it sadly, but I was less gloriously overwhelmed by it. The Coke didn’t act as a happy balancer. This will be a great long-term benefit from cutting out/down Cokes.
